I love this humble creature. Large lovely eyes, lots of character. Lily represents rescued racing hounds all over the world. Adopted into their  "forever" homes, they get to experience life outside the track. Where they can be themselves and live freely with their new families.

As a painter I have met my life's work creating this series of dog portrait art. Every shape, color, and story that can be painted should keep me very busy for a long long time. So many paintings have been sent out into the world as treasures to keep and pass on as heirlooms.

What? you say that is too heavy? too pretentious? well, from the comments and praise I have gathered since 2003, it's entirely possible. The artworks you find here are original. Usually acrylics on stretched canvas, but I also work on paper, so check each listing carefully so you will know what you are purchasing.
